Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Management Professional to play a crucial role in our Global Corporate & Investment Banking division. As part of this team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the stable operations of respective departments, focusing on strategy development, monitoring performance and implementing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4+ years of experience in reporting and/or business management or related fields, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. They will be highly organized, with a structured and logical approach, and able to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Support senior leaders in developing business strategy
    • Lead the implementation of global and/or regional initiatives and business strategy
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Monitor departmental financial and non-financial performance and assess against projected targets/thresholds
    • Support senior leaders to achieve performance targets
    • Track budgets and expenses in partnership with the Finance team
    • Manage reports and initiate periodic updates, including interaction with HQ and regional teams
    • Analyze data and develop models to recommend new initiatives/improvements
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and externally
    • Work in partnership with overseas branches and Head Office to develop strategies for business growth
    • Work closely with existing and future stakeholders and provide support on an ad-hoc basis, including logistics/meeting arrangements
  • People Development:
    • Act as a role model to team members and adhere to company policies/guidelines
    • Support/coach/guide junior team members on complex issues
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for monitoring business risk profiles and taking lead for report/resolution
    • Establish a governance framework for the team
    • Support in developing/updating policies to ensure alignment with relevant regulations
    • Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation
    • Support internal/external audits by preparing documentation as required
    • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends/products/relevant laws/regulations
