Job Title: Dark Store Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational excellence of assigned retail stores and dark stores, encompassing end-to-end management of ordering, receiving, storage, billing, manpower planning, customer experience, and adherence to company standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operational Management
    • Supervise daily operations of retail stores to ensure smooth functioning, including efficient management of inventory replenishment and material movement.
    • Coordinate with teams to implement effective processes for ordering, indenting, receiving, storage, GRN, billing, and material handling.
    • Ensure accurate inventory management and timely replenishment of stocks to maintain optimal store performance.
  • Team & People Management
    • Lead and motivate store teams to achieve operational excellence by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Recruit, train, and develop store staff to equip them with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
    • Maintain an optimal workforce plan, rostering, and productivity on a regular basis to meet business objectives.
  • Process & Compliance
    • Implement and monitor adherence to hygiene, safety, and compliance standards across all stores.
    • Ensure timely renewals of licenses and regulatory requirements to avoid any disruptions to operations.
    • Maintain high product quality and handling protocols to meet customer expectations.
  • Last Mile Deliveries
    • Oversee last-mile delivery processes to guarantee accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with agencies to optimize last mile delivery services using dedicated bikers and 3PL App riders.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborate with central teams for maintenance, marketing activations, and real estate requirements to ensure seamless integration.
    • Work closely with procurement, finance, and HR departments to align processes and drive business outcomes.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, shrinkage, wastage, manpower costs, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports in a clear and concise manner.
