Financial Services Manager

About the Role:

Ours is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership position and contribute to the financial growth of an established company working at the cutting-edge of AI advancements. As a Financial Services Manager, you will play a key role in defining the finance charter and strengthening the governance framework by validating financial targets, setting up budgetary controls, and overseeing controllership functions for India and US entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Corporate Finance function for India and oversee external and internal reporting of financial information, including month-end close process, annual audits, and Board reporting.
  • Manage monthly close, audits, and procurement processes.
  • Develop strong familiarity with US GAAP/ IFRS-based financial standards, especially service revenue recognition.
  • Oversee Treasury, payment gateway, and Banking relationships.
  • Expertise in Financial Models, AOP, and ability to model complex business scenarios.
  • Understanding of unit-level metrics.
  • Familiarity with US and India taxes to ensure compliance and filings – 1099, Use, and Sales tax etc., and work with year-end CPAs for filing returns.
  • Secretarial and Legal contracts – basic familiarity of timeline and laws, work with CS firms.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant with 6+ years of overall experience and 4 years in finance controllership/tax function.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills are essential.
  • Hands-on expertise on ERP Systems, process implementation, and familiarity with technical accounting standards i.e. GAAP/ IFRS etc.
  • Clear understanding of Financial Planning, Financial Management, Budgeting, Forecasting, Compliances, Business Growth Strategy etc.
  • Maturity to influence key stakeholders and work under pressure while ensuring quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to express complex and abstract ideas in a concise manner.
