Vendor Management Professional

We are seeking an experienced Vendor Management Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and vetting qualified language professionals, designing targeted outreach plans, and ensuring all active vendors are contractually compliant.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and engage with high-quality language professionals through various channels, including job portals, industry events, and referrals.
- Develop and implement effective outreach plans to meet specific project requirements, considering factors such as rare languages and niche domains.
- Evaluate and vet linguists based on their qualifications, experience, tools used, and rate compatibility to ensure the best fit for our projects.
- Coordinate the onboarding process, including document collection, vendor code creation, and ERP compliance, to ensure seamless integration with our operations.
- Liaise with quality assurance teams to validate samples or test assignments and ensure consistency across all projects.
- Monitor and maintain up-to-date records of all active vendors, including pricing, language pairs, domain tags, and availability status in our ERP system.
- Negotiate rates with vendors to meet project budget requirements without compromising on quality, ensuring a balance between cost-effectiveness and excellence.
- Audit and cleanse vendor data regularly to prevent duplication, outdated profiles, or missing compliance information, maintaining the integrity of our database.
- Respond promptly to resource requests from project managers within agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs), prioritizing timely delivery while maintaining high standards.
- Recommend suitable vendors based on cost, quality, and availability, providing informed suggestions to support project success.
- Track and document vendor acceptance, rejection, performance feedback, and project history, using these insights to improve future sourcing decisions.
- Address vendor queries, clarifications, or concerns, escalating complex issues as needed to ensure prompt resolution and maintain positive relationships.
- Prepare regular sourcing and vendor performance reports, providing valuable insights to stakeholders and informing business decisions.
- Contribute ideas for enhancing sourcing workflows, documentation templates, and internal processes, fostering continuous improvement and innovation within our organization.
