We are seeking an experienced ETL developer to join our team.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and ETL development, as well as hands-on experience with IBM DataStage. The role requires expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using DataStage, as well as strong SQL skills, preferably in Teradata.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouse environments.
  • Write complex and optimized SQL queries, preferably in Teradata, for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business users to understand requirements and implement data integration solutions.
  • Perform manual and automated data quality checks, including validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Cultivate reusable DataStage job components and ensure adherence to data modeling and warehousing best practices.
Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage ETL development.
  • Strong SQL expertise with Teradata (or other data warehouse platforms).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts: star/snowflake schema, SCD, data marts, fact/dimension tables.
  • Basic programming knowledge in Python, Shell scripting, or Unix/Linux environments.
  • Experience with manual data validation and data profiling techniques.
