About the Role

As a seasoned backend developer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, driving innovation and excellence. The successful candidate will have experience in Go or Rust, with a strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about building robust data pipelines that power real-time pricing engines. If you enjoy low-level protocol work, understand DeFi mechanics, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role may be for you.

  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer).
  • Create and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference.
  • Collaborate with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines.
  • Optimize performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution).

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the development of event decoders.
  • Building data extractors.
  • Implementing trade price logic.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensuring optimal performance and accuracy of pricing models.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • 2–5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust.
  • A strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially understanding of AMM math.
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
