Job Opportunity: A highly skilled developer with extensive knowledge of the AS 400 platform is required to fill a pivotal role. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of programming concepts and be proficient in languages such as RPG 400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQL, and DB2 400.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop complex code and test it thoroughly
  • Design and implement applications
  • Provide support for User Acceptance Testing and Post Implementation
  • Resolve issues reported by users based on criticality of impact on internal and external customers

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with change management tools such as TURNOVER, TAATOOL, and HAWKEYE, as well as experience with Web Service development on the AS 400 platform.

Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of the AS 400 platform including RPG 400, RPGILE, CLLE, SQL 400, SQLRPGLE, and DB2 400
  • Hands-on experience with change management tools TURNOVER, TAATOOL, and HAWKEYE
  • Experience with Web Service development on the AS 400 platform preferred
  • Working experience on Integrated File System and Network Working concepts on the AS 400 platform

The ability to create technical documentation, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a self-started attitude are essential for this role.
