Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures.

Your primary focus will be on building high-throughput systems that can handle real-time search, pricing, and booking workflows efficiently.

In addition to technical expertise, you will also lead multiple projects simultaneously, mentor junior engineers, and drive the delivery of critical initiatives from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable systems using Java (Spring Boot) and event-driven architectures
  • Build high-throughput systems that can handle real-time search, pricing, and booking workflows efficiently
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Drive the delivery of critical initiatives from design to deployment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-12 years of backend development experience
  • Deep Java expertise (Spring Boot, Hibernate)
  • Hands-on developer with ability to code, architect, and lead by example
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders - Product teams, Clients, and Cross-functional tech teams
  • Distributed systems experience with event-driven architectures
  • NoSQL databases (ScyllaDB, MongoDB)
  • Performance optimization and latency tuning skills
