Software Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.

You will work closely with our front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality code deliverables. Your strong technical skills, good communication skills, and ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of software quality assurance principles SOLID design principles and modelling methods make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation.
  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the product team to plan and implement new features.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high-quality code deliverables continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.
  • Conduct technical risk planning perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews.

  • Knowledge of more than one technology.

  • Knowledge of Testing tools.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Understanding of one or more Estimation methodologies Knowledge of Quality processes.
