Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the accounting close process for assigned facilities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to GAAP and SOX guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for bank relationships, LC, and Bank Guarantee support, as well as preparing financial reports and period-end reports.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, with 3-4 years of experience in an accounting or related field. Proficiency in MS Office and strong systems skills, particularly with SAP or Oracle, are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the accounting close process for assigned facilities, meeting all critical deadlines.
  2. Ensure all accounting transactions and processes follow GAAP and conform to SOX guidelines as outlined by WFM Global accounting leadership.
  3. Manage bank relationships, including LC and Bank Guarantee support.
  4. Prepare financial reports and period-end reports.
  5. Gather information requested by internal and external auditors, addressing issues raised by auditors.
  6. Support expense analysis and functional support for IT, HR, Legal, and Regulatory departments.
  7. Distribute settlement/chargeback experience over SAP.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-4 years of experience in an accounting or related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office.
  • Strong systems skills with experience working with SAP or Oracle.
