Job Title: Treasury Manager

This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to analyze and interpret financial data, manage risk, and optimize cash flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Develop forecasts for future cash requirements and align them with business cycles to optimize surplus cash.
  • Implement efficient strategies to manage cash flow, including accelerating receivables and managing payables.
  • Funding and Investment Management:
  • Sources short- and long-term funding through lines of credit, loans, and bond issuances as needed.
  • Evaluates opportunities to enhance returns on excess cash while balancing risk and liquidity needs.
  • Optimizes debt-to-equity ratio and secures cost-effective financing solutions.
  • Working Capital Management:
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage working capital and optimize inventory levels.
  • Analyzes accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) cycles to improve cash flow efficiency.
  • Risk Management:
  • Develops policies to mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity price risks.
  • Utilizes hedging and other financial instruments to minimize exposure.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Presents treasury reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting key financial trends and insights.
  • Conducts variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas for improvement.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data, assess risk, and forecast financial outcomes.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in treasury management systems, financial modeling, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
