Job Title: IT Security Analyst II

Mission Statement:

Responsibilities
  1. Prevent unauthorized access to company information and programs by executing security controls.
  2. Conduct research on security breaches and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
  3. Develop and maintain security systems, ensuring authorized access and restricting unauthorized access.
  4. Administer firewall and encryption methods to protect company data.
  5. Create information security documentation and respond to inquiries using established tools and procedures.
  6. Resolve and follow up on information security issues and questions.
  7. Implement and administer software and vendor security systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  8. Collaborate with the user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to meet those needs.
  9. Provide status reports on security matters to inform management of risk analysis scenarios and response procedures.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in Digital Forensics and Incident Response.
  • Knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control).
  • Proficiency in time management, communications, decision making, presentation and organizational skills.
  • Basic to intermediate decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Basic to intermediate verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences.
