Data Modeler Position

We are looking for a skilled Data Modeler to join our team and contribute to the development of complex transformation programs within our data portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis and modeling experience, with a good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as a strong financial domain and data analysis background.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of complex transformation program development within data portfolio.
  • Work within agile multi-skilled teams to create world-class products to serve customer needs.
  • Elicitate and analyze business change, functional, and non-functional requirements across stakeholders.
  • Own and produce relevant analysis and modeling artefacts for development teams.
  • Understand user journey end-to-end beyond system.
  • Provide advanced business knowledge and technical support for requirements development.
  • Create/enhance logical and physical data models adhering to agreed standards.
  • Undertake metadata analysis including naming of logical entity and attributes and physical table and columns definitions.

Requirements:

  • Strong Data Analysis and/or Data Modeling experience 4-8 years.
  • Strong financial domain and data analysis skills with experience covering activities like requirement gathering, elicitation skills, gap analysis, data analysis, effort estimation, reviews.
  • Individual contributor with good understanding of SDLC & Agile methodologies.
  • Team player with self-starter approach, having sense of ownership, problem solver with solution-seeking approach.
  • Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills capable of building rapport and relationships.
  • Liaison between business and technical teams bridging gaps and assisting teams to deliver projects.
  • Other Skills & Tools: SQL, MS-Office tools, GCP Big Query, Erwin, Visual Paradigm (preferable).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Data Modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), creating high-quality data models following agreed data governance and standards.
  • Maintain quality metadata and data related artefacts accurate, complete, consistent, unambiguous, reliable, accessible, traceable, valid.
