Job Title: Application Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Specialist to join our team. As an Application Specialist, you will play a key role in the application packaging process, ensuring that applications are properly packaged and delivered to customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 7/8/10 migration projects, including application packaging, testing, and troubleshooting. They will also be proficient in Admin Studio/Install shield and possess knowledge of VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, and PowerShell scripting. Additionally, they will be well-versed in application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide technical support for application packaging requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of packaged applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application packaging processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to application packaging and provide solutions.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Windows 7/8/10 migration projects.
  • Proficiency in Admin Studio/Install shield.
  • Knowledge of VB/WMI scripting, Batch Scripting, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Familiarity with application testing and remediation techniques.
  • Expertise in VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box.
  • Knowledge of creating/repackaging applications using various packaging tools.
  • Sound knowledge on Windows Installer Technologies - MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, Standard Actions.
  • Expertise in Application Virtualization Technologies, App-V 4.6, 5.0.

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
