Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled billing professional to join our team on a contract basis.

This role offers a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period.

About the Role:

  • This position involves supporting the configuration, testing, and maintenance of billing systems.
  • The successful candidate will assist in premium billing, collections, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required to work closely with business teams and gather requirements for billing solutions.
  • Provision of production support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating fixes are key responsibilities.
  • Participation in user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and resolution is also expected.
  • Documentation of processes, configuration changes, and end-user training will be an essential part of this role.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in billing systems.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing processes (P&C or Life/Annuities/Health).
  • Understanding of policy administration, claims, and integration with billing systems.
  • Strong skills in SQL, data validation, and reporting.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Agile methodology and Jira/Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Java, APIs, and integration points.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support configuration, testing, and maintenance of billing systems.
  2. Assist in premium billing, collections, payment processing, and reconciliation.
