Direct Tax Leadership Opportunity

This leadership position involves overseeing the Direct Tax function across multiple regions, ensuring timely and accurate adherence to tax laws while optimizing business efficiency.

The ideal candidate will oversee compliance, transactional tax management, audits, and process improvements, ensuring that all applicable taxes are managed effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive tax planning strategies for Business Units to maximize tax savings and benefits.
  • Ensure effective management of tax controversies and ensure timely completion of assessments and litigations.
  • Manage the computation and timely payment of Advance Tax and prepare Transfer Pricing reports.
  • Analyze various tax treaties and Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements to assess the taxability of income.
  • Monitor changes in Direct tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA with 15-18 years of experience in tax department of any multinational Company.
  • In-depth knowledge of Direct Taxes, particularly Assessment, Appeal, TP Assessment, ITR, Tax Audit.
  • Strong written and oral communication skill, experience of representation before tax authorities.
  • Hands on experience of dealing with auditors and tax consultants.
  • Strong business focus and ability to team up with internal stakeholders.
