Job Title: Tax Manager

As a seasoned tax professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of complex financial services client returns. Your expertise in reviewing hedge funds, private equity, and fund of funds will be instrumental in identifying international filing requirements through org chart analysis and review of international tax returns.

You will be responsible for training and developing team members on concepts and technology, providing timely feedback and guidance. Additionally, you will supervise kick-off calls to understand client needs and regular connects with US counterparts to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed reviews of client returns to identify areas of improvement and optimize tax strategies.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of tax-related projects.
  • Provide expert guidance on tax law changes and e-filing validations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing team members to drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including experience with hedge funds, private equity, and fund of funds.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective tax strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
