Job Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

  • The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting project teams with financial expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Providing financial assistance to project teams in all areas related to clinical trials.
  • Preparing monthly invoicing worksheets for client invoicing and revenue recognition.
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify gaps, changes in scope, and discrepancies.
  • Reviewing work orders and change order budgets for accuracy.
  • Supporting monthly project review meetings as needed.
  • Assisting in contract document preparation, including statements of work and change orders.
  • Collaborating with the Company Accountant on financial reporting, general ledger functions, and timely closures.
  • Communicating with senior management regarding financial results, special reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Developing and implementing new procedures to enhance workflow and internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting, including Earned Value Analysis and contract review.
  • Fluency in English and local language (where applicable).

Additional Qualifications

  • CRO industry experience is a plus.

  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger expertise.
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong accounting skills and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently, with a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
