- SAP Business Technology Platform Consultant
This is a high-impact role that involves working independently as a Business Technology Platform Developer, assigned to project implementation involving complex delivery. The ideal candidate must have past or existing project delivery experience and be able to work in a team during the implementation phases.
The candidate will design, configure, develop, and customize using SAP Business Technology Platform; strive for top-quality results and continuously look for ways to standardize, improve, and enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Business Technology Platform consultant to work with cross-functional teams, IT development teams, and business users at the consulting level.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with SAP technical consultants to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality; set target delivery dates and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to technical aspects of implementation.
- Manage complex developments by oneself or guide respective developers to achieve delivery.
- Train and transfer knowledge to other team members.
- Recognize impacts of changes and ensure due diligence before making changes, performing thorough testing before implementation to avoid reworks.
- Responsible for technical design solution prior to implementation of projects or change requests.
- Ensure technical implementation quality and minimum rework after deployment.
- Leverage understanding of business processes and system processes to make recommendations and propose solutions to meet business requirements.
- Must have over 4-5 years of SAP Business Technology Platform working experience with at least 3-4 years in a consulting environment.
- Highly preferred technical developer with hands-on experience in BPA, CAPM, Fiori, UI5.
- Advantageous to have Cloud Application Program Model (CAPM) experience.
- Strong experience in HANA and/or S4HANA developments.
- Works with SAP development tools and technologies.
- More than 3-4 years of experience working in a technical team for project delivery.
- Must have at least 3-4 years in a consulting environment as Technical Developer.
- Experience in SAP project implementation in S4 HANA.
- Provide information/advice to the team on best practices, industry trends, and feedback on overall performance of processes and tools.
- Keep up-to-date with latest technologies and tools, and evangelize their value within the development teams.
- Experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
