Remote Technical Support Specialist Job

This is a full-time position working 100% from home with flexible US office hours.

  • Collaborate closely with the Client Success team to provide Tier-2 technical support for software issues.
  • Work with internal and external customers, client service teams, clients, and partners to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Communicate feedback and inputs to the development team based in India.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diligently communicate with customers to identify problem roots.
  • Provide effective workarounds when fixes will take time.
  • Deliver timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm issue resolutions.
  • Support new application rollouts.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support purposes.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
  • Contribute innovative solutions for streamlined operational processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, and AWS.
  • Strong skills in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Desirable: Certifications in Linux, Java, web development, AWS; experience with AI tools for day-to-day tasks.
  • Development mindset to quickly adapt into a developer role with minimal training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
