Technical Content Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create high-quality instructional documentation and manage projects across various systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation that meets established quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop tailored documentation solutions.
  • Document information to effectively communicate it to various audiences, including customers, technical staff, managers, executives, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Restructure complex information into accessible concepts suitable for different audiences.
  • Represent information in visual/graphical forms to augment textual descriptions.
  • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word.
  • Prioritize tasks and work efficiently in fast-paced environments.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing and editing/communications.
  • Thorough knowledge of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and usage.
  • A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience documenting instructions for software/development processes.
  • Project management skills, including organizing multiple documentation projects and tracking progress.

Skills:

  • Fluency in common Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Word, and have experience documenting instructions for software/development processes.
