**Job Title:** Custom Memory Architect

We are seeking a skilled Custom Memory Architect to design and optimize memory layouts for custom memories such as SRAM and Register Files.

  • Collaborate closely with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts.
  • Utilize expertise in floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints to create efficient designs.
  • Debug physical verification checks, including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR checks.
  • Leverage knowledge of advanced process nodes (5nm and below) to develop innovative solutions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with scripting languages like SKILL, Python, or TCL, and apply their skills in custom-based memories or compiler-based memories. We are interested in candidates with experience in high-performance and/or low-power memory layout optimization techniques and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in memory layout design.

Key Requirements
  • Experience in layout design of leaf cell level and top level (integration) of custom memories.
  • Strong understanding of circuit design principles and ability to translate schematics into optimized layouts.
  • Expertise in physical verification checks, including DRC, LVS, ERC, EM, and IR checks.
  • Familiarity with advanced process nodes (5nm and below).
  • Scripting experience in SKILL, Python, or TCL.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in memory layout design.
