Senior Java Developer Job Description

As a seasoned Senior Core Java Developer, you will be responsible for creating high-performance backend applications, services, and APIs. Your expertise in designing and developing robust software systems will enable you to make significant contributions to our organization's success.

Key responsibilities include leading the design and development of scalable Core Java applications, architecting and optimizing RESTful APIs, driving performance tuning and memory management improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance backend applications using Core Java.
  • Architect and optimize scalable RESTful APIs for enterprise-grade systems.
  • Drive performance tuning, memory management, multi-threading, and concurrency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.
  • Design, implement, and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases for large-scale, high-volume datasets.
  • Build and lead data analytics pipelines to extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production systems to enable intelligent automation and predictive capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical reviews, architecture discussions, and roadmap planning.
  • Oversee cloud-native deployments and manage environments on AWS/Azure/GCP.
Required Skills and Qualifications

For this role, we are seeking candidates with expert-level Core Java skills, proven experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and distributed system architectures. Advanced database skills, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning, are also required. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka), caching (Redis), and big data frameworks (Spark) is preferred.

Proficiency in AI/ML model lifecycle - development, training, deployment, and inference - is highly desirable. Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools is also beneficial. Understanding of cloud-native architectures and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
