Job Description

As a key member of our settlement team, the Associate Process Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of daily settlements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper documentation and workflow evidence for regulatory and compliance purposes, while also interacting with external clients and stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of all settlement activities, adhering to internal control policies and procedures.
  • Researches and resolves problems relating to specific fails, collaborating with the settlements team to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Monitors Euroclear/DTCC/Crest/SGX/Clear streams to ensure matching of all settlement items, working closely with external clients and brokers to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Daily comparison of open trade fails, ensuring items are tracked and actioned promptly.
  • Interacts with the trading desk, sales desk, and other stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of all settlement-related issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in commerce or a related field (BCom, BBA, BBM, BCA) or post-graduation (MCom, MBA, PGDM).
  • At least 4 to 7 years of experience in handling a team of minimum 5-6 members and possessing good knowledge of settlements and OTC derivatives.
  • Strong logical and quantitative abilities, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
