Graphic Design Intern Job Description

We are seeking a talented graphic design intern to contribute to our design team. As a graphic designer, you will play a key role in creating visually engaging and compelling design assets that drive customer engagement and conversions.

You will work closely with our marketing and e-commerce teams to produce a wide range of digital assets and web designs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in designing and conceptualizing user interface/user experience (UI/UX) for e-commerce websites, and contributing to visual improvements.
  • Creating wireframes and prototypes to illustrate design concepts and improvements.
  • Designing responsive layouts for e-commerce pages.
  • Developing engaging landing pages, infographics, website banners, and graphics for e-commerce websites.
  • Creating promotional materials, including email templates, social media assets, and online ads.
  • Optimizing product images for web use to ensure fast loading times and high-quality visuals.
  • Maintaining brand consistency across all design assets, ensuring our visual identity is cohesive and recognizable.
  • Ensuring that all design assets align with our brand guidelines and enhance the overall user experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
  • A strong understanding of creative aspects of digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma (preferred), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
  • Knowledge of current design trends and best practices for web and mobile.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • An attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing designs.
