Job Summary

This role requires a keen understanding of resource management in a professional services environment, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. As a Senior Resource Analyst in Equiniti Retirement Solutions, you will play a vital role in optimizing the allocation and utilization of the company's most valuable resources – its human talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining resource management processes and procedures to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  • Collaborating with project managers and department heads to gather resource requirements and create resource plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Monitoring resource utilization and availability, and proactively identifying and addressing any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resource allocations, availability, headcount, and utilization.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to provide regular updates on resource allocation status and address any resource-related issues or concerns.
  • Producing and analyzing resource utilization data, presenting to leadership and advising on opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Supporting the Head of Resource Management in developing and implementing strategies to improve resource efficiency and maximize resource utilization.
  • Providing guidance and support to project teams on resource management best practices and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate skills & certification information for resources and working with senior resource analysts to identify future skills gaps.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Resource Management in a professional services organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Management, with the confidence to collaborate confidently with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of resource management software and tools, as well as professional services automation (PSA) platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies commonly used in the professional services industry.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Resilient and proactive with a positive, agile attitude towards changing demands and peaks/troughs in workload.
