About this role:

Process Expertise

The Process Design Manager is a recognized expert in process optimization. They leverage cross-functional knowledge to advise on end-to-end process steps, support changes to products or policies, and define ways of working.

  • Developing expert process maps that capture the new end-to-end process, understanding requirements for the full future state, and evolving these as products or policies with appropriate controls
  • Design and operationalize an Operating Model with Technology/Product teams to manage monthly and quarterly releases from Oracle, evaluate risks, and collaborate with relevant teams to mitigate them
  • Establish measures of success, drive engagement with key stakeholders, process owners, and people teams across representative business units, driving key design decisions and considerations, and being the 'go-to' person for expertise on as-is ways of working across representative business units
  • Plan and deliver Service Rehearsal Testing for People Services for upcoming rollouts, effectively deploy the no-customization principle, and align to a common operating model for their business area
  • Effectively resource estimation with ramp down of legacy Payroll/HR teams and ramp up of Oracle Payroll/HR teams
  • Diagnose and recommend solutions to complex operational challenges, using specialist knowledge, following our Business Code of Conduct, and always acting with integrity and due diligence
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Advanced MS Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Product and/or project management experience
  • Project Management, People Policies, and within a large organization
  • Designing processes with Processes, Problem Solving, Analysis, and Judgment, effective controls related to Tesco People domain, and Stakeholder Management, Change Management managing Projects related to UK legislation and Tesco Policies
  • Logical Thinking, Oracle ERP Payroll/Legacy System Architecture Knowledge
