Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our team, responsible for conducting AML and KYC checks for a global investment bank.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to conduct detailed investigations into alerts generated by transaction monitoring or screening systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct review on alerts generated for transaction monitoring or screening alerts in Sanctions, Adverse Media and Politically Exposed Persons
  2. Conduct open source search to find relevant information to complete the investigation and review
  3. Perform due diligence of documents provided for customer as per bank's policy and guidelines
  4. Capture information and documents from internal system / teams as per established norms of bank on KYC documentation per policy
  5. Initiate and coordinate client outreach to fetch client documentations
  6. Conduct false positive analysis on matches identified for counterparties alerted during watch list, sanctions and adverse media screening
  7. Mitigate or call out true hits for AML adverse concerns and collaborate closely for further action
  8. Closed Interaction with Customer/business as an SME in the area of AML / Compliance
  9. Adherence to the critical metrics and business SLA's is required
  10. Responsible for preparing and reporting out their own SLA's

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  • University graduate in any field
