Job Overview

This role is a senior data engineering position that involves designing, developing and supporting scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies. The individual will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze business needs in order to provide technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Development
    • Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Lead and contribute to the architectural design of data models, data marts, and data warehouse solutions.
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Complex Query Development
    • Develop complex SQL/PLSQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
    • Implement and monitor data quality frameworks, error handling, and exception processing strategies.
  • Automation and Deployment
    • Work with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA for sprint planning and issue tracking.
    • Utilize scripting skills in Python and/or UNIX to support automation and custom logic within data workflows.
    • Contribute to version control and deployment using GitHub or similar platforms.
