Job Opportunity: Financial Institutions Analyst

This role offers a unique chance to develop expertise in credit analysis and support global analytical teams. You will be responsible for providing data, research, and financial modeling support for company-specific credit reports.

  • Develop an understanding of credit analysis principles and build proficiency through hands-on experience.
  • Assist in preparing daily/weekly newsletters, monitoring news, announcements, or other material events impacting financial institutions/banks.
  • Maintain industry data through ongoing research/review of company filings, presentations, and industry publications.
  • Provide research support and help collect, organize, and analyze data from internal and external sources.
  • Track, review, and maintain documentation and databases to support the credit rating process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master's or Postgraduate in Management (Finance) or CA or CFA charter holder or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in capital markets, credit analysis of financial institutions and/or banks.

Skills:

  • Good understanding of core finance and accounting concepts.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS accounting rules is strongly desired.
  • Rugged quantitative and analytical skills supported by strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to participate/contribute as a team player.
