Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to own the technical architecture of our Shopify app, responsible for building a scalable and secure platform that helps merchants prevent Google Merchant Center suspensions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React/Next.js, GraphQL, and Shopify apps. They will lead the design and development of the entire product, including Shopify integration, Google API connections, and a clean, merchant-friendly UI.

Responsibilities include:

  • Architecture & Build: Design and develop the technical architecture of the Shopify app, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Lead end-to-end development: Oversee the development of the Shopify app, including backend and frontend components.
  • Secure authentication flows: Design and implement secure authentication flows using Shopify OAuth and Google API OAuth.
  • Database models: Build robust database models to store store data, policies, and feed configs.
  • Shopify Integration: Use the Admin GraphQL API to create/update pages, inject structured data, and manage metafields/metaobjects.
  • Google Merchant Center Integration: Connect via Content API for Shopping & GMC API to pull diagnostics, flag policy issues, and manage feeds.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • 4+ years professional full-stack development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React/Next.js, and GraphQL.
  • Experience building Shopify apps, including OAuth, Billing API, and GraphQL Admin API.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Soft skills include a startup mentality, comfort working independently, and strong communication skills.
