Job Description

As a strategic leader, you will oversee all aspects of precision machining operations within the Oil & Gas Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in precision machining, strategic planning, and operational management to drive excellence and innovation in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's overall business objectives and long-term goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential risks to drive growth and sustainability.
  • Lead the SBU in achieving financial targets, operational KPIs, and other performance metrics.
Operational Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the precision machining facility, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure the facility meets all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and technicians.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them achieve their professional goals.
Financial Management
  • Manage the SBU's budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate forecasts and financial reports.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the SBU in meetings with senior management, providing insights and recommendations on business strategy and operations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and delivering high-quality products on time.
Innovation and Technology
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements in precision machining and aerospace manufacturing.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance the SBU's capabilities and competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. An MBA or advanced engineering degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum years of experience in precision machining operations within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, managing large teams and complex operations.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, financial management, and operational excellence.
