Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Purchasing Professional to join our team in a key role that requires strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You should have a strong understanding of procurement principles, policies, and procedures, as well as experience working with suppliers and negotiating contracts.

A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required, and you should have at least 10 years of industrial experience, preferably in the defense and aerospace industry.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you should be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and teamwork skills, as well as a passion for continuous learning and professional development.

  • Finding potential suppliers for new projects and evaluating them for suitability
  • Negotiating prices and terms with suppliers
  • Cost estimation of new parts for benchmarking and identifying cost-saving opportunities with suppliers
