Executive Technical Assistant: A Key Role in Project Success

As a member of the Mobility Research Team at IIIT-Hyderabad, this position plays a crucial part in overseeing various research projects. This includes coordinating multiple applied research projects, representing principal investigators and scientists in project discussions, and managing project documentation and timelines.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, the ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, and excellent communication skills. They should also possess basic familiarity with AI, machine learning concepts and applications.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. The candidate should have experience in a technical role interfacing between research/engineering teams and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple (two or three) applied research projects at the institute, and other independent projects on a time-to-time basis
  • Represent PIs and scientists in project discussions, summarize, document and manage the project
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders across different organizations, collaborating with Faculty, Engineering and management teams
  • Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interface and engage with external organizations through reports, meetings and presentations in a proactive manner.
  • Help manage scope, timelines and quality of research output in projects
  • Recommend tools, methods and processes to help improve efficacy and efficiency of project tracking and execution
  • Serve as a single point contact for project related requests from stakeholders
  • Create, maintain and update presentations related to various project engagements
