We are seeking a highly skilled Breakwater Specialist with extensive experience in designing, constructing, and managing port and marine infrastructure to lead our key coastal development project in Trivandrum, Kerala.

As a seasoned expert in coastal engineering, you will apply your expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Construction of Breakwater Systems: Oversee the design, planning, and construction of rubblemound, vertical, and hybrid breakwaters to ensure the protection of port infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Direct port expansion projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and strict quality control.
  • Coastal & Marine Engineering: Apply advanced knowledge of coastal processes, materials, and hydrodynamics to develop innovative breakwater solutions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with government agencies, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure stringent adherence to health and safety guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.
