Key Roles and Responsibilities

At our organization, we are seeking a seasoned data expert to drive forward-thinking solutions in cloud-based environments. This position demands technical prowess, effective communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Primary Objectives:
  • Design advanced ETL pipelines for batch data ingestion and egress.
  • Develop scalable data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, Spark, and other Azure services.
  • Troubleshoot complex data jobs, identify issues, and implement root cause solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose efficient solution designs.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and adherence to best practices in data engineering.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of problem definitions, solutions, and architecture.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting project deadlines.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud services, ADF, and Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
  • Expertise in designing complex ETL pipelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively gather requirements and propose solution designs.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
Solution Design Expectations:

Effective solution designs should prioritize scalability, maintainability, and efficiency, utilizing industry-standard tools and best practices. Solution proposals should be well-documented, providing clear explanations of design decisions and trade-offs. Regular progress updates and stakeholder engagement will ensure seamless collaboration and successful project outcomes.
