Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Global Payroll Data Migration Specialist to join our team at Thoucentric Technology Pvt. Ltd.

This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, potentially extended based on project requirements.

About the Role

As a Global Payroll Data Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the migration of existing payroll systems to new providers, including data transition from multiple countries to a few suppliers.

You will assist in project delivery as part of a global team, responsible for data mapping, transformation, and migration, ensuring key relationships are managed.

Strong global team collaboration and virtual working skills are essential for this role, as you will work with colleagues across the business.

You may perform responsibilities within the Global Payroll COE team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supports the Payroll Technology Lead and Global Payroll CoE in data migration from current systems to new solutions.
  • Works on integration, reporting, and testing workstreams.
  • Performs data extractions using various methods, including APIs, SQL, cloud storage, and flat files, and reviews data to identify mapping requirements and data quality issues.
  • Discusses business requirements with Subject Matter Experts and documents them.
  • Executes and manages data migration processes, collaborating with Integration and Project leads.
  • Develops and executes extraction and transformation scripts to transfer data from existing systems to templates.
  • Escalates risks and issues to ensure minimal impact on the wider programme.
  • Supports the Global Payroll CoE in providing reporting and analytics services.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify reporting and analysis requirements, ensure data integrity, and provide effective People and Payroll Analytics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require 8-12 years of experience in HR data migration and knowledge of query writing in SQL programming, API usage, and data extraction from cloud storage platforms.

You must be able to continuously improve systems, processes, and ways of working, with strong verbal and written communication skills, and experience of working within a project environment.

You should be willing and able to quickly learn new tools and software, knowledge of data structures, mapping, and migration techniques, and ability to obtain and analyze large amounts of data.

Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this position is around ₹10,00,000 - ₹15,00,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
