Responsibilities:

- Develop high-performance web applications using object-oriented programming languages like Java or Scala.

- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Kafka or AWS Athena.

- Contribute to the development of new technologies and systems required for our core platform.

- Collaborate with teams to design, develop, test, and refine deliverables that meet the objectives.

- Perform code reviews and implement improvement plans to ensure quality standards.

Requirements:

- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures and space/time complexity.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

- Solid experience working with modern object-oriented programming languages and frameworks.

- Understanding of massive parallel processing and big data technologies like Spark.

- Experience working with databases and versioning tools like Git/Bitbucket.

Additional Responsibilities:

Must have Skills:

- Knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Experience working with Kafka.

- Understanding of full-text search technologies like Elasticsearch/Solr.

Good to have Skills:

- Knowledge of agile methodologies.

- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS.

- Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis.
