We are seeking an accomplished Data Automation Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the success of a growing organization.

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience on enterprise-level applications, including Data Engineering and Data Warehouse Testing.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Azure, ADF, ADB, Synapse, and experience in automation of QA testing using Databricks, building reusable functions and classes.
  • Experience in writing complex PySpark and SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and creating a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered.
  • Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects.
  • Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.
  • Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.
  • Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.
  • Experience in data analysis, including profiling, auditing, balancing, and reconciliation, in an information technology operating environment.
  • Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc)
  • Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc for performance improvements
  • Knowledge of data models and entity relationship diagrams
  • Knowledge and experience in data masking methodologies - Familiar with Meta Data Management tools
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.
  • Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set.
