Job Description

A seasoned automation professional is needed to craft, implement and execute automated test scripts ensuring the reliability and quality of software applications.

This role entails designing and maintaining automated test scripts for web, mobile and API applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile and API applications.
  • Execute regression, functional, integration and performance tests.
  • Identify, log and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with QA, development and business teams to ensure test coverage.
  • Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and reusability.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit or Cucumber.
  • Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript or C#.
  • Experience in API testing (Postman, RestAssured or Karate).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitHub Actions).
  • Understanding of databases (SQL or Oracle).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Benefits

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • ISTQB or relevant QA certifications are preferred.
