Job Summary


We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our tablet manufacturing facility in Mumbai. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.


About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production processes, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting production targets based on sales forecasts;
  • Implementing technical upgrades to improve productivity and efficiency;
  • Planning future manufacturing facility and equipment needs;
  • Motivating and guiding subordinates to execute their responsibilities effectively;
  • Implementing Quality Assurance/Quality Control audit recommendations for facility upgrades and operations;
  • Coordinating third-party and loan license technical approvals to meet production demands;
  • Conducting regular visits to third-party facilities to ensure compliance with defined procedures;
  • Managing the manufacturing of new products according to statutory requirements, GMP, and marketing needs;
  • Identifying cost reduction opportunities and developing CAPEX plans for GMP upgrades and capacity enhancements;
  • Enhancing the company's corporate image by participating in social and academic bodies related to the pharma industry;
  • Ensuring zero-defect products are consistently produced.

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, sciences, or business administration;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and industry standards;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proven track record of improving productivity and reducing costs.
