Lead Business Intelligence Developer

As a Lead Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Your primary goal will be to implement and manage ETL processes that ensure efficient data flow and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Utilize Azure Data Factory to create, test, and deploy data pipelines that meet the organization's data requirements.
  • ETL Process Management: Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure efficient data flow and transformation, adhering to industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Data Modeling and Warehousing: Develop and maintain data models and data warehouses using Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Power BI Reporting and Dashboards: Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency, ensuring optimal use of resources.
  • Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certification in Azure Data Engineer or related Azure certifications is an added advantage.
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure SQL Database, hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage, proficiency in creating and managing Power BI reports and dashboards, knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline implementation.
