Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced backend developer to fill a critical role in our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable back-end services using Go and Python, deploying containerized microservices using Kubernetes, and optimizing graph database queries and models in Neo4j.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable back-end services utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Go and Python

  • Optimize graph database queries and models in Neo4j to enhance system performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements ensuring timely delivery

  • Participate in Agile sprint cycles, code reviews, and product planning to drive innovation
  • Contribute to CI/CD workflows in a cloud-native environment promoting high-quality delivery

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend development experience working at a product-based company with a proven track record of success
  • Strong hands-on experience with Go and Python programming languages
  • Experience with databases as a programmer, i.e., Neo4j, MongoDB, SQL, etc
  • Desirable experience with Neo4j or similar Graph Databases
  • Proficient with API development and testing (REST or GraphQL) ensuring efficient data exchange
  • Master's Degree or 5-10 years of relevant working experience demonstrating expertise in the field

Bonus Points For:

  • Familiarity with React.js or frontend collaboration enhancing overall system efficiency
  • Experience with CI/CD and GCP accelerating software development lifecycle
  • A mindset of ownership, speed, and high-quality delivery in a startup setting driving business growth

This role requires that you have 5 + years of experience working with a SaaS Product and possess a deep understanding of backend engineering principles.
