Job Description

The Data Governance Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the IT governance strategy, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks across IT functions. They oversee governance frameworks, service management operations, and compliance initiatives aligned with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and IT service management continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to ensure IT processes support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
