Job Description

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled engineer with strong technical and analytical skills, experience in software development, and a passion for tackling complex problems.

  • Design and develop business requirements on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules such as configuration management database, service definition management, discovery, and event/alert management.
  • Capture requirements from stakeholders through demonstrations and workshops.
  • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to develop user stories, configurations, and deliver on agreed timelines.
  • Configure modules, develop custom solutions, and prepare high-level designs and architecture documents.
  • Work with the platform team to update technology direction and strategy, manage day-to-day tasks, and provide value-based assessments and workshops.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 5+ years of experience in software development, custom app development, and ServiceNow implementations.
  • Hands-on developer experience in scripting, unit testing, and system integrations.
  • Expert knowledge in configuring CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Event/Alert Management rules.
  • Deep understanding of REST, WSDL, JSON, and ability to integrate with third-party applications and data sources.
  • Manage configuration management database & asset foundation data tables, import sets, and update sets.
