Job Title: Digital PR Communications Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing communications strategy. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, both locally and nationally, to secure high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a marketing communications strategy, including goals, tactics, and budget.
  • Create and implement a media relations strategy to secure high-level placements in various media outlets.
  • Coordinate all public relations activities, including press releases, byline articles, and keynote presentations.
  • Direct the social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media.
  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorship, and advertising on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in public relations required.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
