Job Overview

To achieve exceptional results, we are seeking a highly skilled School Development Officer to join our team. This role involves driving school development initiatives, fostering relationships with parents and stakeholders, and leading sales and marketing efforts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and stakeholders through effective communication, ensuring excellent parent service and satisfaction.
  • Manage the resolution of all parent queries, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure timely responses.
  • Develop innovative solutions to prompt resolutions, periodically review past parent queries, and improve processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience by reaching out to parents post-query resolution for feedback and improvement.
  • Maintain the front desk/relationship desk during operational hours, ensuring no parent is left unattended.
  • Upskill parents on school systems and processes, keeping them informed about the latest achievements of the organization.
  • Guide parents on admission procedures, efficiently handle irate parents, and provide consistent quality services.
  • Utilize all available aids to educate parents on USPs of the organization and child education pedagogy followed.

Sales and Marketing
  • Be actively involved in the complete sales cycle, lead the RE team to meet sales and revenue goals, and devise plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Carry out experiential marketing activities, such as school tours and parent engagements, effectively promoting the school's brand and USPs.
  • Communicate the social media presence of the school and the efforts taken to ensure children receive necessary recognition across relevant media platforms.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations highlighting the organization's growth, values, and strengths for marketing/promotional activities.
  • Cultivate relationships with external vendors for marketing initiative execution and introduce/pre-school corporate tie-ups.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to create brand awareness and promote USPs like summer camps, day care, and PSA activities.

Administrative Responsibilities
  • Manage admission registrations manually and on ERP as per process guidelines, generate MIS reports, and track parent grievance handling at the center.
  • Collaborate with the Vertex Marketing Team for updates/intimations and maintain accurate records for admission forms and documents.
  • Ensure seamless execution of leave certification requests, personally attending to each request to retain customers.

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage the RE cell team, coach, inspire, and provide actionable feedback, providing on-the-job training to improve team performance.
  • Train the RE cell team on new USPs introduced in the organization and motivate teams to perform better.
  • Stay updated on past sales trends and records, consistently upgrading one's understanding of the education industry.
