This role involves strategic planning, message development, campaign management, and performance analysis to ensure internal and external communications are impactful, consistent, and aligned with business objectives.
The role requires a dynamic and enterprising individual who produces high quality outcomes and sustainable impacts through a professional self-directed and self-monitoring approach.
Inspired and guided by Legacy's ideals, vision and mission the successful candidate will provide nurturing and effective leadership for the school's advancement team, advancement initiatives and inclusion of staff across the school.
She/he will help present the strengths of our unique institution to the world and will continually seek meaningful ways to engage with our community members locally, nationally and internationally to help the school fulfill its mission.
The office of Advancement plays a leading role in shaping, facilitating and communicating Legacy School's Vision and Mission to both internal and external stakeholders, alongside the collaborative leadership and development of all stakeholders experiences throughout their journey with Legacy School.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & School Culture: Cultivate positive relationships, support the school's vision, and enhance community spirit through an approach which is aligned with Legacy values.
Community Building & Communications: Collaborate with leadership on communications, stakeholder experiences, managing branding across media, celebrate successes, and oversee quarterly reporting and stakeholder workshops.
Team-building working with institutional and section leadership to communicate, inspire and implement improvements in stakeholder experiences at all levels of the organisation and within all points of contact, consistent with brand values and educational commitments.
Public Relations & Brand Building: Develop and enforce branding guidelines, lead marketing efforts, manage social media and school publications, and support events and photo/video production.
Admissions Support: Assist in promotional strategies, conduct campus tours, and generate enrolment leads.
Professionalism: Model school values, demonstrate organisational skills, and continuously seek professional growth.
Develop and implement communication strategies that support organisational objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments to ensure unified messaging and oversee multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, media, internal).
Lead the creation of high-level content such as executive speeches and thought leadership deliverables.
Ensure consistent brand voice and tone across all platforms.
To identify award and PR placement opportunities and work in collaboration with the Leadership team on drafts for nomination and content requirements.
To oversee school communication and review content for the weekly bytes and other resources - brochures, newsletters, branded documents.
Support photo and video production process, liaison with team to ensure the context and positioning is in accordance with our guidelines.
Provide content and design support to internal departments - Administrative, Events and Admissions for various activities/events planned for the year.
Plan, Review and oversee the digital media strategy with social media Agency for Ad campaigns and website management.
Oversees the organisation of alumni networks/ hubs and supporting initiatives and events Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.5+ years of experience in strategic communications.
Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with a proven mastery of high-quality of written and verbal English.
Proven ability to manage large-scale communication projects and campaigns, achieving notable impacts and successful outcomes.
Proficiency in digital marketing and media analytics tools.
Familiarity with social media platforms, CMS, and email marketing tools.
Familiarity with the Cambridge/ IB Curricula.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Experience in collaborative team management and leadership within medium- to large-size organisations
