Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to assist in our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes.
  • Cook food according to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Check the temperature of appliances and food.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field.

Working Conditions:

  • The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • The ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
