Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the Sales and Distribution module in SAP.
  • Design, configure, and implement SAP SD solutions to meet client needs ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD processes with other SAP modules.
  • Conduct system testing, document test cases, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of the implemented solutions.
  • Provide end-user training and support during the implementation and post-go-live phases.
  • Perform data migration and system integration activities ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve issues and provide continuous improvement recommendations for the SAP SD module.
  • Stay up to date with SAP SD module advancements industry trends and best practices and propose innovative solutions to enhance business operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree preferably in Sales and Marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module implementation configuration and support.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end Sales and Distribution processes including pricing order management delivery and billing.
  • Proficiency in SAP SD configuration and customization including pricing procedures output determination and availability check.
  • Experience with SAP integration points with other modules such as Finance FI Materials Management MM and Production Planning PP.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD functionalities related to logistics execution transportation management and warehouse management.
  • Expertise in special SD processes including Consignments Processing Consignment Stock Process Returnable Packaging MTO MTS Individual Purchase Orders and outsourced material process and configuration Cash sales and rush Order Complaints Back Order Processing and Third-Party Order Processing.
